Island and coastal biosphere reserves share particular pressures: limited land and water, dependence on tourism and fisheries, and exposure to sea-level rise. This thematic network helps them work on solutions together. As a biosphere reserve covering an entire island, from summit to reef, Rinjani-Lombok is a natural member.
